【国旗下演讲】 让优秀成为一种习惯

尊敬的老师，亲爱的同学们：

大家早上好。今天我们演讲的题目是《让优秀成为一种习惯》。

当今社会，竞争日趋激烈。人与人，乃至国与国之间都存在竞争，唯优秀者得以胜出，引领风骚。一个志存高远的人，必定是将追求优秀作为自己的人生目标，作为一种近乎本能的习惯。

首先,“优秀”是一种关乎个人涵养的习惯。有这么一个人，她通晓英语、法语、西班牙语，翻译的西方名著《堂吉诃德》被公认为是最优秀的译作；值得敬佩的是90岁高龄仍然笔耕不辍，她就是我国著名作家钱钟书先生的夫人——杨绛女士。钱钟书先生给了她最高的评价——“最贤的妻，最才的女”，她的才华智慧，她的甘于奉献，她的豁达宁静，都为世人所称颂。“涵养”，就是“内涵”与“修养”。一个真正优秀的人，是一个有内涵，有修养的人。这两点决定了一个人的“高度”。

不仅如此，“优秀”也是一种有能力的体现。作为一名优秀的学生，对于自己需要完成的任务，不仅要考虑应该怎样完成，还要考虑怎样做效率最高。对于自己交往的人，不仅要考虑如何相处和睦，还要考虑如何求同存异，合作共赢。无论是对事还是对人，都要求一种能力。一个真正优秀的人，就要凡事比别人多想一步。一步决定“远度”。

“优秀”还是一种道德品质上的自我约束习惯。正如伟大的教育学家霍瑞斯·曼曾经说的那样：“习惯犹如一根缆绳。我们每日为其编织一股，不久它便不容易断裂。”

生活就是一方沃土，“播下一种行为，收获一种习惯；播下一种习惯，收获一种性格；播下一种性格，收获一种命运。”

同学们，优秀的行为习惯蕴含在生活的点点滴滴之中，比如近在眼前的期中考试，亦或是以后的中招、高考乃至工作，都是如此。让我们共同摒弃杂念，平心静气，让优秀成为一种习惯，让习惯成就我们的未来！

Dear teachers and schoolmates, good morning.

Today, the topic of our speech is “Let excellence ['eks(ə)l(ə)ns]  become a habit .”In today's society [sə'saɪətɪ], the competition is becoming  fiercer [fɪəs ] and fiercer .There are competitions between people and even between countries, only the excellent win and lead the way.A high-minded person must be in pursuit [pə'sjuːt] of excellence as his life goal and as an almost instinctive [ɪn'stɪŋ(k)tɪv] habit.

First of all, "excellence" is a habit about personal self-cultivation [kʌltɪ'veɪʃn] . There is such a person who knows English , French ,Spanish . She translated western masterpiece ['mɑːstəpiːs]  Don Quixote that is considered to be the best translation She is admirable ['ædm(ə)rəb(ə)l] because she still wrote at the ageof 90.  She is the wife of our famous writer Qian zhongshu— Ms Yang Jiang. Mr Qian Zhongshu gave her the highest evaluation [ɪˌvæljuˈeɪʃn] —the most virtuous ['vɜːtjʊəs ] wife, and the most talented female. Her talent and wisdom, her dedication [dedɪ'keɪʃ(ə)n], and her open-minded and quietness are all praised by the world. "Cultivation" means "connotation [kɒnə'teɪʃ(ə)n] " and "culture".A truly excellent person is a person with connotations and culture. These two ways determine a person's altitude ['æltɪtjuːd].

In addition, "excellence" shows one’s ability. As a brilliant student ,  For the task we need to finish ourselves, we should consider not only how to finish it , but also how to do it the most efficiently [ɪ'fɪʃntlɪ].And we should think about not only  how to get along better with others ,but also how to seek common points while reserving differences for win-win cooperation . The ability is required for both things and people . A truly excellent person always thinks further than others — one step determines distance.

Excellence is a habit of self-discipline ['dɪsɪplɪn] in moral quality.As Horace Mann, the great educator, once said, “Habits are like a cable. We weave [wiːv] a strand [strænd] of it every day and it isn’t easy to break soon .”

Life is like a piece of rich land “An action brings a habit. A habit brings a character. A character brings a destiny ['destɪnɪ].”

Dear schoolmates, excellent behaviors and habits lie in our everyday life,such as the coming mid-term exam, the senior high school  entrance exam and even the college entrance exam that are all like this. Let’s abandon miscellaneous [,mɪsə'leɪnɪəs] thoughts, and calm down. Let excellence become a habit. Let the habit help us realise our dreams!
