尊敬的老师们，亲爱的同学们：
大家早上好！今天我们演讲的主题是《珍惜时间》。
纵观历史，古往今来，大抵多有淡泊名利、视金钱如粪土之人，却未尝有闻视时间如无物之士。他们可以放下一切，却唯独不能放下对时间的警惕——稍不留意，时间便会从指缝中一晃而逝。
苏轼曾在《赤壁赋》中写道：寄蜉蝣于天地，渺沧海之一粟，哀吾生之须倪，羡长江之无穷。若你可以珍惜时间有所作为，便可以在历史的长河中掀起大风大浪;若你不懂得珍惜，终将被别人的浪潮所吞没。
九年级面对即将到来的中招考试，拼的是态度，拼的是勤奋，拼的更是时间的运用。作为九年级的学生，站在同一起跑线，但只有那些学会惜时、高效的人才能脱颖而出。
珍惜时间，首先要树立正确的时间观念。朱熹在庭院中看到梧桐树叶片片飘落，不禁感叹“少年易学老难成，一寸光阴不可轻”，于是潜心为四书集注，终有所成。九年级学生课业繁重，我们必须要认识到何重何轻，必须将分秒必争的时间花费在有意义的事上，不要让那些玩物成为我们光阴的收割机。
珍惜时间，还要注重学习工作的方法和效率。高效的工作源于正确的方法。吃饭排队时背书复习、随身携带记忆小卡片等等，这些生活中零碎时间的合理利用，都是一种优秀的惜时表现。但这并不意味着所谓的“笨方法”是浪费时间。曾国藩幼时鲁钝，只有依靠一遍又一遍的熟读才能记忆文章，但他正是靠这种笨方法有所大成。因此只要将时间花费在有意义的事情上，就是一种对时间珍惜的体现。
有句名言曾说道：“对商人来说，时间是金钱；对将军来说，时间是胜利;对农夫来说，时间是收获。”那么我想，对于我们学生来说，时间便是知识。
同学们，我们正值青春，正值人生最美好的时光。我们应当以惜时的态度迎接未来的每一天，从现在做起，改变自己，让惜时高效成为一种习惯吧！待他日回首往昔，莫让“少壮不努力，老大徒伤悲”的惋惜成为我们一生的遗憾。

Dear teachers, myschoolmates,
Good morning!Today our topic is Treasure your time.
Looking back tothose successful people in history and thinking about current outstandingpeople, we can easily find out those who are indifferent to fame and wealth.However, none of them regard time as nothing. They are able to leave troublesalone, as well as show no interest in fame and wealth, but all of them aresparing no effort to make good use of their time. Time flies even though we can’tfeel it.
Just as Su Shionce mentioned in his famous poem The red cliff ode , “ How small and tiny welook in the vast universe; how we admire the endless Yantze River while howshort out life is! ” If you make good use of your time and do somethingmeaningful, you will be able to make a big difference to the history; however,if you don’t treasure your time, you will probably get nowhere and end up asnobody.
As Grade 9students, if we desire to get good grades in the Senior High school EntranceExamination next year, the positive attitude and hard work come first. At thesame time, how to make use of your time really matters. Now, we all have thesame opportunity, but it is those who can make good use of their time will makeit to the top at last.
First , we musthave the sense of the time. Watching the leaves falling from the Chineseparasol, Zhu Xi exclaimed, “ Since it’s easier to study hard and make it as weare young, we must treasure every minute we have.” He devoted himself to makecollections of The four books. And he accomplished it at last. We Grade 9students must know what really matters at present under the heavy burden ofschoolwork. Therefore, we must put every minute on the meaningful things andstop wasting our time on something useless.
Second ,we shouldfind out the right way to learn efficiently. Learning efficiently is based oncorrect methods. We can make use of each short period of our daily life such asreviewing what we just learned when having meals and waiting in line and so on,which are useful ways of making good use of your time. However some people arelikely to say that these common ways are a waste of time. Zeng Guofan wasn’tvery intelligent at an early age, and he could memorize the articles only byreading them over and over again. But it is these common methods that made himsuccessful. Therefore, if you spend your time on something useful, you aremaking good use of your time.
As a famous sayinggoes that, “For businessmen, time is money; for generals, time is victory; forfarmers; time is harvest.” And I think, for students, time is knowledge.
My dear students,as teenagers, we are now in the best period of our whole life. We must hold astrong belief that time is money to greet every following day. And from now on,please make some changes and develop a good habit of making good use of your time.As we are getting old and think back to those old days, I hope we will neverregret not treasuring our time when we were young.
