尊敬的老师,亲爱的同学们:

大家上午好!

今天我们演讲的题目是：新学期，你准备好了吗？

回眸间，美妙而又充实的假期已经过去了一周的时间，我们载着激动和喜悦，踏上了新的征途。回到熟悉的校园，看到那热血沸腾的“哈佛红”，闻到那令人心旷神怡的书香味，听到那引人悉心聆听的读书声，相信每个同学都在心里默默地问着自己：“新学期，你准备好了吗？”

新学期，新气象。新学期的到来，意味着我们要有新的目标与展望，要有新的想法与改变，要有新的理想与突破。我们又从新的起跑线上朝着我们的梦想进发了。阳光烂漫，风暖天蓝，我们正沐浴在这明媚的春光里——这一年之计的春啊！那我们应该怎么办呢？我们要抓住这大好时机，来安排好新学期里自己的学习和生活。在整洁优雅的校园中，每天早晨积极锻炼身体，认真读书，日子过得紧凑而充实，忙碌而愉快，我们何乐而不为呢？此刻，让我们立下宏伟的志向，制定新的学习计划，思考新的学习方法，在一次又一次的考试中，为自己书写一份份满意的答卷。

在新学期漫长的学习道路上，我们也许会陷入暗礁险滩，也许会面临山高水险，但我们必须咬紧牙关、奋发图强，时刻铭记自己的使命和师长的期望，时刻铭记自己是一名郑外学子，让优秀成为一种习惯。十年铸剑，只为炉火纯青；一朝出鞘，定当倚天长鸣！让我们泰定目标、挺起胸膛、坚持到底、勇往直前，在心中大声对自己说：“我准备好了！”

还记得军训时谷主任的谆谆教诲吗？“做自己不曾做的事，叫成长；做自己不愿做的事，叫改变；做自己不敢做的事，叫突破。”雄关漫道真如铁，而今迈步从头越！今天，我们以郑外为荣，明天，郑外定以我们为傲！当和煦的春风吹进我们韶光如梦的心房，当初升的朝阳照亮我们坚毅的脸庞，我们的梦想在这新春伊始起航！

Are you ready for the new semester?

Dear teachers and schoolmates:

    Good morning! Today our topic is Are you ready for the new semester?

    Its been a week since the wonderful and fulfilling holiday. We set off on a new journey with excitement and joy. Back to the familiar campus, I believe that every student will ask yourself: "Are you ready for the new semester?"

    New semester, new spirit. The arrival of the new semester means that we should have new goals and prospects, new ideals and changes, new ideals and breakthroughs. We are moving towards our dreams from a new starting line. A year’s plan starts with spring. And now, we are bathing in the bright spring! What should we do? We have to seize this great opportunity to arrange your own study and life in the new semester. Why don’t we do exercise actively every morning in the neat and elegant campus? Why don’t we study carefully to make everyday busy but fulfilled and happy? At the moment, let’s set a magnificent ambition,  develop a new learning plan and think about new learning methods. Only in this way can we get satisfactory results in the tests.

    During the new semester, we may meet lots of difficulties, but we must bite the bullet and work hard. Please always remember our own mission and the expectations of teachers. Always remember that we are students of Zhengzhou Foreign Language Middle School. We should make excellence a habit. Persistence is the key to success. Let’s set goals, stick to them and tell ourselves from the bottom of our heart: "I am ready!”

    Do you still remember what Director Gu said during the military training ? You’ve grown up when doing what you’ve never done. You’ve changed when doing what you don’t want to do. You’ve made a breakthrough when doing what you can’t do. The great pass seems unconquerable, but we’re determined to get through it step by step from now on. Today, we are proud of Zhengzhou Foreign Language Middle School. In the future, our school will be proud of us! With the warm spring breeze and the rising sun , our dreams set sail at the beginning of this spring !
